DEATH, DYING AND GRIEF

Students will collaborate to research Jewish and Christian beliefs on death and dying and make comparisons between them. They will also research how persons used their grief to assist others.

Lesson Summary:
Students will work in groups to research beliefs and rituals concerning death and dying along with ways persons handle grief. They will then present their findings to the class.

Lesson Objective:
To provide students with the opportunity to analyze Jewish and Christian beliefs on death and dying. They will also investigate how persons used their personal experience with death to help others.
