INTRODUCTION TO SOLAR SYSTEM

The lesson created here is to bring new students to the understanding of the solar system and how it relates to our daily existence. The lesson plan draws videos from YouTube that will arouse student's understanding and excitement into learning about the solar system. The lesson will introduce students to OER and will encourage them to participate in the classroom by bringing a worksheet for greater retention and involvement.

Lesson Summary:
Students will learn about what consists of the solar system and know how the solar system impacts on their daily lives. The lesson will also state how the earth is important in the solar system.The lesson will introduce them to the subject through pictorials, videos and provide some links to access some OER for more informed and personalised learning. Students will also be encouraged to share what they find through videos and will be provided with lesson notes and document that will help them concretize their learning.
