FABRIC SURFACE DECORATION TECHNIQUES

This lesson is done prior to a shop shop visit. The actual topic is fabric surface decoration and students will have to go to retail shops to collect data, images of what is available on the market. The y will then share their findings online so that their classmates can show appreciate and make comments. The students will have to make a mood board with the data collected.

Lesson Summary: (a field trip to visit clothing retail outlets)
Students will investigate into different techniques of fabric surface decoration and have to distinguish between traditional and innovative ones.

Lesson Objective:
To provide students with an opportunity to investigate, gather information of what is available in shops, on the market and relate their findings with their lessons.
