Lesson Plan on Formative Assessment intended as professional development for teachers.

Lesson Summary:
Students will be given an overview of formative assessment and why it is valuable for teachers and students. Students will have an opportunity to experience first hand several exciting formative assessment tools. They will then have the opportunity to create formative assessment activities using one or more of the tools discussed. When formative assessment is used consistently and effectively, neither teachers nor students are surprised by their final grades.

Lesson Objective:
To provide students with the opportunity to utilize various free tech tools to create and conduct engaging formative assessment activities for their lessons.
